I graduated in 2010 from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy. Upon which I moved to the Hawkes bay and worked in the hospital setting in multiple areas; acute inpatient, outpatient musculoskeletal, orthopedic, surgical, neurological and vestibular setting. Before contracting for local physiotherapy clinics for the last 10 years.

Having completed postgraduate study in McKenzie method and the Mulligan Therapy and is a certified Mulligan practitioner. With further training in advanced pelvic assessment and treatment. Gaining ongoing qualification for dry needling through Trevor Montgomery and GEMT. Completed Explain Pain and Graded Motor Imagery with David Butler. More recently entering into the world of neural and visceral manipulation in recent years. Working on the relationship between body’s organs and internal components and how they influence the muscles and joints in the body. With this work becoming a major component of present treatment resulting in a particular interest in concussion management and the more complex patient.

I will work with you to alleviate your pain, by restoring your movement and strength and allowing you to regain your full function. Ensuring each treatment is tailored to the individual for a successful outcome. Passionate about incorporating into functional rehabilitation to help you back doing what you love – athletes or no athletes, young and old.

Outside of clinic I enjoy spending time with my husband and young family on the farm. If not found there then at one of the various activities within the local community. Or venturing away to attend courses to update my skills and keeping up to date with current developments.
